And 33-year-old Bengaluru-based artist Vilas Nayak is one such story, who is India’s best fast painter.

On December 13, he will be painting at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, as Shankar Mahadevan sings along.
He’s also been invited by the NBA team San Antonio Spurs to paint a tribute to Legend Tim Duncan at his jersey retirement ceremony, on December 18 in Texas. Nayak’s experiments with painting started three decades ago in the small town of Ujire, 60 km away from Mangaluru.
