Mdu gumede biography sample

Mdu Gumede Enest Thabane (also known as Ntandane Makhathini in the popular sopie called ISIBAYA ) (“Mdu”) was born on the 1st of March in a small township called Mthunzini located in KwaZulu-Natal,South Africa.

Coming from a previously disadvantaged community and having lost his mother at a young age, Mdu found conforming in story telling and acting (some might say as a copying mechanism).

Even in times where he had to endure the pain of moving from one family to another in search of some shelter, Mdu entertained himself and his little sister with inspirational short story (izinganekwane) of survival. During his school years and without any support (financial or otherwise) from his family (save for his little sister) he enrolling in numerous extra curricular activities involving theatre and small plays.
